Occasionally the world seems to blend and serendipity happens, like magic…this magic is happening at Connolly with glass artist, Zhao Jinya and painter, Taffina Flood. Both are showing upstairs at the Gallery for the next two months and the connection and sense of dialogue is breathtaking. There is a shared sense of colour, the pull and tug of energy, the geometry, the opacity, the layering, the light, and the sense of balance both describe in their practise … and there is the utter joy that rises in the viewer when you see the work.
