Three Paths: Academic Nominated Exhibition of China’s Contemporary Crafts: Crafts Museum of China Academy of Art, Hangzhou

Crafts Museum of China Academy of Art launches its major annual exhibition - Three Paths: Academic Nominated Exhibition of China’s Contemporary Crafts. The exhibition is an in-depth review of Chinese contemporary crafts, but also an inspiration for future development of craftsmanship.

 

The exhibition consists of three sections - Sophistication and Elegance in Tradition, Aesthetics in Craftsmanship, Contemporary Crafts. There are more than 300 pieces from over 100 Chinese artists on display, ranging from wood carving, stone carving, ceramics, embroidery, furniture, jewelry, glass, lacquer, bamboo, paper-cutting, fiber art and many more.

 

Ting-Ying Gallery is please to successfully nominate several Chinese diaspora artists to exhibit, including Liu Nannan, Peter Ting, Stan Chen, Su Xianzhong, Xu Shiyuan, Zhang Sheng.
